What Does Compliance Mean?
Active: Registration requirements are fully completed.
Frozen: Registration is in progress. All organizations are listed as Frozen during their registration window.
Inactive: Registration was not completed by the deadline. Organizations in this status must complete any missing requirements to restore their recognition.
Archived: RSOs that have not registered for two (2) or more consecutive years. These organizations are placed in the student organization archive and can be reactivated by request.
Staying in Compliance
Each year, RSOs must renew their registration through NvolveU to maintain compliance. If an RSO is "out of compliance," they lose access to University resources, including the Event Planning & Registration (EPR) process, campus reservations, and SOFS accounts. To stay in compliance, RSOs must:
Complete the Re-Registration Process on NvolveU.
Have the President and Primary Programmer complete On-Demand Annual Orientation.
Ensure the Treasurer completes On-Demand SOFS Treasurer Training.
Maintain a current constitution on file with ASUN.
Obtain a Federal Tax Identification Number (FTIN) if the RSO has annual receipts over $5,000.
