Attend Annual Orientation
Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) are required to complete an On-Demand Annual Orientation session. RSOs participate in one (1) of two (2) registration periods:
FALL RSOs: mid-October to December 31 (before the last day of the Fall semester)
SPRING RSOs: mid-March to May 31 (before the last day of the Spring semester)
During a registration period, each RSO must send the newly elected President and Primary Programmer to an On-Demand Annual Orientation session, while the Treasurer must attend SOFS Treasurer Training.
All three (3) members must complete their respective sessions for the RSO to maintain total compliance status.
RSO Annual Orientation & Treasurer Training
The President and Primary Programmer must complete the Annual Orientation, which includes:
An overview of University policies related to RSOs
Available resources and funding opportunities
Reference materials for student leaders
Treasurers must complete SOFS Treasurer Training, which provides in-depth guidance on managing RSO finances. Both training courses are available on-demand through the NvolveU website.
