To start advising an RSO, follow these "Quick Start" steps:
- Get to Know SLICE
- Visit the Student Leadership, Involvement, & Community Engagement (SLICE) office at 200 Nebraska Union or 300 Nebraska East Union, or explore involved.unl.edu.
- Familiarize Yourself with NvolveU
- This platform is your go-to resource for managing RSOs: https://unl.campuslabs.com/engage/
- Confirm Your Registration
- Ensure you're listed as an Advisor on the RSO’s NvolveU portal alongside the President, Treasurer, and Primary Programmer. Officers should update this information annually.
- Stay Informed
- Watch for the Life with SLICE Newsletter, sent twice a month to all listed RSO Advisors. This includes key updates, resources, and development opportunities. (You must be listed as Advisor 1 or 2 in NvolveU to receive it.)
