RSOs can fundraise through raffles but must register with the SLICE Office by completing:
- An Event Planning & Registration (EPR) on NvolveU.
- A Raffle Authorization Form from the SOFS Office, with all required signatures, before ordering or selling tickets.
State Law Requirements
- Raffle proceeds must support a charitable cause or community betterment (e.g., donations, scholarships, speakers).
- Gross proceeds cannot exceed $5,000.
- 100% of prizes must be merchandise (no cash or cash-equivalent prizes).
- Funds can only be used for charitable purposes, prizes, and operating costs.
