Kansas City, MO is the destination for the March 17 - 20, 2025 Trip. The focus is Homelessness.
The Project
During the four days (March 17 - 20) in Kansas City, you will work side-by-side with the Hope Faiths team working in their shelter and outreach center for the homeless. You will sort donations in the warehouse; serve meals; unpack supply trucks; and deliver care packages to people in need. Outside of volunteering students will participate in mini excursions to learn more about the city including visits to the Power and Light District, The Plaza, Trivia nights and tours at Museums.
About the Nonprofit
Hope Faith-Homeless Assistance Campus works to alleviate homelessness and poverty in Kansas City, Missouri by providing basic necessities and assistance, as well as, providing critical services and programs to empower individuals experiencing homelessness and at-risk individuals to become self-sufficient and independent.
