Kansas City, MO is the destination for the March 17 - 20, 2025 Trip.  The focus is Homelessness.

About Kansas City

Located three hours from Lincoln and our campus, Kansas City is the largest city in the state of Missouri. Nearly 2.4 million people reside in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area.

The Project

During the four days (March 17 - 20) in Kansas City, you will work side-by-side with the KC Zoo & Aquarium and Harvesters Food Bank nonprofits.  You will sort donations in the warehouse; serve meals; grounds work planting or removing bamboo; and deliver care packages to people in need. Outside of volunteering students will participate in mini excursions to learn more about the city including visits to the Power and Light District, The Plaza, Trivia nights and tours at Museums.
