UNL Homecoming Concert



FREE SHUTTLES for 2016 UNL HOMECOMING CONCERT

The UNL Homecoming Concert presented by the University Program Council (UPC) and New Country KX 96.6 is this Thursday, September 29th at 8pm on the East Campus Mall. If you are a University of Nebraska-Lincoln student on City Campus here is the schedule for the two FREE shuttles (50-Passenger School Buses with A/C) provided by UNL Residence Hall Association that will be available before and after concert.

Shuttle #1:

6:00pm – Pick up at City Campus Henzlik Bus Stop and drop off at East Campus Ag Hall Bus Stop. This shuttle will run this route hourly at 6:00pm, 7:00pm, and 8:00pm.

For the return trip after the concert, pick up from Ag Hall Bus Stop and drop off at Henzlik Bus Stop. This shuttle will run this route hourly at 9:30pm, 10:30pm, and 11:30pm.

Shuttle #2:

6:00pm – Pick up at 14th & Avery Garage (Harper Schramm Smith), then 17th & R Garage (Knoll & Cather Pound Neihardt), then Abel/Sandoz and drop off at East Campus Ag Hall Bus Stop. This shuttle will run this route hourly at 6:00pm, 7:00pm, and 8:00pm.

For the return trip after the concert, pick up from Ag Hall Bus Stop and drop off at respective Residence Halls on City Campus. This shuttle will run this route hourly at 9:00pm, 10:00pm, and 11:00pm.

NOISE WARNING for 2016 UNL HOMECOMING CONCERT 

The University Program Council (UPC) and KX 96.9, along with ASUN Student Government, Residence Hall Association (RHA), Student Involvement East, College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR), Burr-Fedde Association of Resident Members, and Alpha Gamma Rho (AGR) are proud to present the 2016 UNL Homecoming Concert featuring Thompson Square with special guest Adam Sanders. The show will begin at 8pm on Thursday, September 29, 2016, on the UNL East Campus Mall. Admission is free for UNL students, faculty, staff, and public. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be relocated to the Lancaster Event Center, which will be decided by 5pm on Tuesday, September 27, 2016.

All EAST CAMPUS academic buildings, residence halls, local neighbors, and area businesses PLEASE be aware that there will be bursts of high and low-frequency sound throughout the day with full concert-level sound checks beginning at 5pm. Performances are expected to run from 8pm to 11pm, and the concert will be open to UNL students, faculty, staff, and public.
