Alternative Spring Break Trips
Oklahoma City, OK (Spring Break 2005)
We will work with the American Red Cross and Regional AIDS Interfaith Network (RAIN) to learn about HIV/AIDS clients: their needs, support systems, coping mechanisms, and health. The participants will have the opportunity to learn more about their own feelings in relationship to this public health issue. As a cultural activity, participants will visit the Oklahoma City National Memorial.
Events:
- Working with RAIN (Regional AIDS Interfaith Network) and The American Red Cross learning about HIV/AIDS and working with specific AIDS affected populations
