2013 History Month Activities

Annual History Month Dinner

The annual history month dinner is one of many programs hosted by the LGBTQA Resource Center. The first annual history month dinner was in 2003 and has grown to be a large celebration. Last year, over 290 guests gathered at Embassy Suites to mingle, eat and meet author and activist, Sarah Schulman, the keynote speaker. This year marks the 11th annual dinner celebration for the UNL and Lincoln LGBTQA Community!

This year’s dinner will take place at The Cornhusker Hotel on October 17, 2013. There is a pre-dinner social sponsored by OUTLinc at 5:30pm, seating starts at 6:30pm (a great time to purchase tickets for our prize drawing!).  The program begins at 7 pm. Please join us in October!

Individual tickets may be purchased in the Student Organization Financial Services Office (SOFS). The SOFS office is located in Nebrasaka Union 200. Please purchase tickets by October 8th, 2013.
UNL students can also request scholarship tickets to the dinner. Please contact the LGBTQA Resource Center with your request.
