Leadership: What We Say

So you're wondering what the LeaderShape Institute is all about?

LeaderShape consists of six fun and fully-packed days of hands on, interactive experiences where you learn about yourself and the idea of leadership. Each day activities will start at 8 a.m. and end around 10 p.m. --yes, we mean fully packed! This is a get-down-and-dirty, interactive experience in a casual and supportive setting. You'll make lasting friendships with other UNL students and gain a greater understanding of who you are and where you're going.

During the Week You Will:

• Learn about your own leadership style and skills.
• Work together on the outdoor challenge course.
• Spend an evening visiting with and learning from experienced leaders from the Lincoln community.
• Get to know others and work closely with a core group of eight to ten UNL students.
• Discover what you're passionate about and develop a plan of action to improve the world around you.
• Chill out with your new friends and enjoy the gorgeous surroundings of Camp Carol Joy Holling during your free time.
