What is your favorite aspect of marketing?
Not to sound corny, but everyday at work is a bit of an adventure. Information Strategies serves numerous clients who have very diverse brands, audiences, and promotional goals. Every time I walk into a meeting to receive a new briefing, it is like opening a present Christmas morning. I love marketing because it provides me a deeper insight into not only the organizations I work for, but also the world around me, and myself.
What are your plans after graduation?
In all reality, I have no idea. (Maybe I will join the Virgin Galactic Team in New Mexico and help colonize the moon?) Part of the college experience is your own individual development. I could say one thing today, but who knows what person, project, book, or idea will completely change my state of mind tomorrow. I hope to go out and find an organization/brand that will truly ignite my passion. Give me a few years, and I think I will have a better insight onto this question.
