What are you influenced by?
The ordinary things in life tend to grab my attention, everything from standard street signs and billboards, to new package designs in the grocery aisle. The things I listen to and read on a daily basis also influence me.

What is your favorite aspect of design?
I love the ability to create something that never existed in quite the same way before. Plus, I like to be able to say that I literally “judge a book by its cover” as my job. (With the exception of people of course)

What are your plans after graduation?
I plan to go on to more schooling, only then to start the highly anticipated job hunt. As much as I love Nebraska, I’m definitely open to the idea of leaving.

How do you spend your free time?
It is usually spent with friends, and it usually involves food. I have a thing for going out to eat. But when my friends leave, I tend to spend my time writing and drawing.
