Student Involvement Areas with Student Staff Positions
  • East Campus Programs - event planning for the Student Involvement East Campus office
  • Gender Related Programs - coordinate and assist with programs in the Women's Center
  • Information Strategies - assist with the marketing and promotion of Student Involvement programs and Activities (positions include webmaster, graphic designers, and marketing project coordinators)
  • Leadership Programs - coordinate the Chancellor's Leadership Class and L-Team events
  • NU Directions Grant - assist in programs to reduce high-risk drinking among UNL students
  • Student Organization & Activity Resources - provide support services/programs for student organizations and advisors

Staff Expectations
In addition to individual duties unique to each position, a student staff person will also be expected to participate as a member of the Student Involvement team in all of its programs and services that may go beyond the job description. Student staff members are an integral part of Student Involvement and influence the goals of the office.

Attendance at Student Involvement staff meetings, training sessions, special events and celebrations is expected of all staff members. Another expectation is participation in mid-year and end-of-year evaluations. Open communication should be maintained with all other Student Involvement staff.
